River City Regulators is a SASS-affiliated cowboy action shooting club. We shoot five stages. The range has fun building facades like a jail, cantina, a mineshaft, corral and dock.
We shoot every first Sunday of the month. Registration starts at 8:15am. We also hold practice shoots and new shooter safety orientations every first Saturday of even months.
RCR has also renewed the tradition of including a pocket pistol on at least two stages at monthly matches. It will generally be shot two rounds per stage.
A pocket pistol is generally NOT a "P" model Colt. Barrel to be 4" or less. Can be a revolver (single or double action) or over/under derringer type. Of course must be early type (pre 1900).
